| Copymart Institute (CMI) is a specified
nonprofit organization, certified by the Cabinet Office of the Japanese
government in February 2003. |
CMI is:

to solve various problems in the
information society on the basis of the Copymart concept; |
| • |
to create a transaction market dealing
with intellectual properties; |
| • |
to enhance the public awareness of legal
issues related to intellectual property through symposiums,
publications and so on; |
| • |
to pursue a series of research projects
on Copymart applications and IP transactions, to encourage related
study and research, education and practical training, and exchanges
with other related research institutions; |
CMI makes it possible to support the creation of an infrastructure for
the information society. |
